Amit Singh is the founder and brainchild behind the Mediculture Foundation, which he established with the vision to improve healthcare accessibility and raise awareness about health issues in underserved communities. As the Public Health Director of AMSA India for the year 2024, he is deeply involved in public health initiatives. He is also an active member of the Rotaract District Council RID 3141 for the years 2023-24 and 2024-25. With over five years of experience in Rotaract, Amit is the most experienced Rotaractor in the Rotaract Club of Mumbai Medico Marvels, a club he personally helped charter. Amit is a final-year MBBS student and has been involved in numerous medical and social service projects through Mediculture Foundation. His work focuses on improving health awareness, addressing social issues like malnutrition, mental health, and hygiene, particularly among marginalized populations such as sex workers and BMC workers. He has organized health camps and conferences, including screening tests for blood pressure, blood sugar, and other health parameters.
Yash Variya Takodara is a dedicated healthcare professional, social entrepreneur, and community leader committed to improving medical accessibility. As the founder and director of Mediculture Foundation, he leads initiatives that bring essential healthcare services to underserved populations. He is also the Charter President of the Rotaract Club of Mumbai Medico Marvels, demonstrating his strong leadership and passion for community service.Beyond healthcare, Yash is an accomplished music artist, with his work available on platforms like Spotify and Amazon Music. He is keen on research and actively contributes to medical and healthcare advancements. Additionally, he is a certified trainer from the Ministry of Social Welfare and Justice, further enhancing his role in community education and empowerment.His contributions to public health, medical outreach, and humanitarian service continue to make a significant impact
The camp was executed with remarkable professionalism, showcasing the dedication and hard work of everyone involved.I particularly enjoyed the collaborative environment fostered by the Mediculture. Working alongside healthcare professionals and fellow students allowed us to share knowledge and skills, enhancing our learning while serving the community. The camp not only provided essential medical services to those in need but also promoted health education, which is vital for empowering individuals and improving overall community health.This experience has reinforced my belief in the importance of initiatives like this, which bridge the gap between medical education and community service. I look forward to participating in more events like this in the future, and I am confident that the efforts of Mediculture will continue to make a significant impact on both students and the society at large.
